Where can I find pet loss support in Brazil?
Start with your vet, the nearest emergency animal hospital and your local humane society or animal charity, since they often host groups or know who does. Larger cities such as Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia are more likely to have regular in-person groups. Anywhere in Brazil, online groups and phone lines are available, and many counselors now work by video.
What if I can't afford a counselor in Brazil?
Free support covers a lot: pet bereavement lines, online groups, general listening services and your vet.
